In Error
“The first principle is that you must not fool yourself and you are the easiest person to fool.”—Richard P. Feynman
The first definition of falsehood (or Not Truth) in last week’s post is: “Want of truth or accuracy; an untrue assertion or representation; error; misrepresentation; falsity.” This is simple error, free of dishonesty, evil intent or fabrication. I think I’m telling you (or myself) the truth, but I’m not.
